Naya Kanga Peak is also known as Ganja La Chuli. It is an attractive peak rising to the west of the Ganja La pass (5122m). It is also lies in the Langtang Region which is a popular, although at times difficult, pass giving access to Helambu and the Kathmandu Valley. The normal route of ascent on Naya Kanga is via the North-East Ridge.

Trip Itierary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Guided tour in Kathmandu and preparation for trek (B)
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabru Besi. 8 hrs (B.L.D)
Day 04: Syabru Bensi to Lama Hotel (2480m) 6 hrs (B.L.D)
Day 05: Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (3541m) 5 hrs (B.L.D)
Day 06: Langtang Village to Kyangjin Gompa (3800m) 3 hrs (B.L.D)
Day 07: Acclimatize at Kyangjing Gompa (B.L.D)
Day 08: Kyanjing Gompa to Naya Kanga Base camp (4400m)
Day 09: Acclimatize at Naya Kanga Peak Base Camp.
Day 10: Naya Kanga Peak Base Camp to High camp (5000m)
Day 11: High camp to Summit Naya Kanga Peak (5844m) and back to Base camp.
Day 12: Base Camp to Kyanging Gompa (B.L.D)
Day 13: Kyangjin Gompa to Lama Hotel (B.L.D)
Day 14: Lama Hotel to Thulo Syapru (B.L.D)
Day 15: Thulo Syapru to Dhunche. (B.L.D)
Day 16: Drive from Dhunche to Kathmamndu. 6 hrs (B.L)
Day 17: Shopping and rest in Kathmandu. (B)
Day 18: Final departure to Airport (B)

  3. Naya Kanga Peak climbing permit and Shivapuri Conservation Park fees
